Verizon has gone on record saying FiOS TV access should reach Mac and iOS devices sometime in early 2011

Verizon has gone on record saying FiOS TV access should reach Mac and iOS devices sometime in early 2011.

The technology is meant for existing FiOS TV subscribers and for the iPad app but, will require home Verizon Internet access to authenticate a device.

Verizon is also working on iOS support for a video-on-demand service.
