I assume its going to be trial run in Canada first but, Netflix may offer a streaming only package that cost around $8 that allows you to stream Netflix movies to your computer, mobile device, or Netflix connected box.

The reason its a $1 cheaper in Canada is because the plan does not include any DVD-by-mail option but rumors have it that the USA will get a streaming package as well.

Hopefully that will drive the price down ever lower.
