The people of Team Xecuter have claimed to hack the XBOX 360 to play burned movies or games allowing...ummm people to play backup copies of their games or movies.

Now that this is possible, I doubt there will be any rent, burn, and return going on. They are promising that a public release of the patch "will be available shortly".
