The Nintendo Wii has earned the golden title of the fastest selling gaming console in history achieving the 30 million sold since its launch in November of 2006.

The Wii was an instant hit after is release because if its new never seen before motion controlled game play that attracted players of all ages.
Its funny because when it was first introduced, the Wii really wasn't recognized as serious competition for the PS3 and XBOX 360 but as we all know, that was a serious error in thinking.
