Gunnar Optiks has come up with a solution to one of the biggest problems that people with bad vision face when wanting to watch a 3D movie

Gunnar Optiks has come up with a solution to one of the biggest problems that people with bad vision face; having to wear two different pair of glasses while watching a 3D movie.

Gunnar has come out with a pair of "universal 3D glasses".  These glasses are compatible with any projection screen or TV that uses RealD 3D technology.

Unfortunately, most 3D movies being released (such as Avatar or Toy Story 3) require "active shutter" 3D glasses so these new glasses from Gunnar wouldn't be much help.

They are also working on a version of these 3D glasses that will be available for those with eye wear prescriptions meaning if you go into a movie theater, you won't have to do anything.
