The Panasonic research ad design team is working on a Blu-ray disc player for cars which should be available later this year. 

Unfortunately, its being released in Japan first and there is no mention of when or even if its coming to North America.

The CN-HX900D (main unit) is a Windows-powered DVD/CD player, that features GPS, tuner, amplifier and 7-inch LCD high-def screen, with the capability of adding the Blu-ray add-on to play Blu-ray discs.
