Blu-Ray will Work on Old TVs

Got a older HDTV ? Sony says it will work with Blu-Ray
Sony is trying to entice uses of older HDTVs to use its Blu-Ray format by allowing the technology to run on their soon-to-be-antiquated machines at full resolution.

The outfit has decided not to use Image Constraint Token (ICT) to down sample the video output on analogue HDTVs which would have prevented the older machines using Blu-Ray at its best resolution. More...
