Today Sony unveiled their new Internet TV powered by Google TV giving you the ability to watch HDTV, install applications, and surf the internet all in one device.

The combination of Sony's hardware and engineering expertise and Google's understanding of open software provides a unique user experience, merging multiple content sources in one easy-to-use interface.

"Finally, you can seamlessly search your favorite TV programs and web sites on the same screen, at the same time."

The innovative TV is built around the Android platform, runs the Google Chrome browser and includes a powerful Intel® Atom® processor offering the ability to quickly search across Internet and television content for easy access to entertainment and information.

Sony has given you four TVs with Google TV built-in:

  • 24" NSX-24GT1 for $599
  • 32" NSX-32GT1 for $799
  • 40" NSX-40GT1 for $999
  • 46" NSX-46GT1 for $1,399

They will be available for purchase at Sony Style on October 16 and at Best Buy shortly after.
