Apple will experiment with selling some TV shows for $1 through iTunes starting in April with the hope of subscribing to a $30 a month package that features the best of the best TV shows.

Apple has been trying to get networks to lower the prices of their shows but, its hard to under cut a $1 Redbox prices.  Television executives are hoping the lower price will lead to a higher volume of sales.
