Apple has released a firmware update for its 27-inch iMac, fixing problems with the all-in-one computer's graphics cards

Apple has released a firmware update for its 27-inch iMac, fixing problems with the all-in-one computer's graphics cards.  The firmware update is for the ATI Radeon HD 4670 and 4850 graphics cards made by Advanced Micro Devices.

The update corrects unspecified problems that Apple says "may cause image corruption or display flickering."

Among the problems cited were flickering, cracked, or yellow-tinged screens.  Of course, Apple declined to comment on the problems.   lol
