Wal-Mart has sold over 1.5 million DVD players that can overheat and potentially cause a fire hazard

The DVD players recalled are under the "Durabrand" name and have already started five fires.  These "Durabrand" players were made in China and cost under thirty dollars to buy (That should tip you off right there...).

Wal-Mart stores sold the units between January 2006 and July 2009. So far twelve units have overheated but none have caused any personal injuries.

Consumers should immediately stop using the product and return it to the nearest Wal-Mart for a full refund.
