Panasonics New Viera line is rated at 100,000 viewing hours before it even hits half-brightness stage

There has always been a large debate between LCD and Plasmas.  Most have said Plasmas have a short live span.  Well Panasonic was here to set that straight.

They have announced their new Viera line that last 100,000 hours before it even goes half brightness.  Thats about 42 years.  In 42 years will probably have 3D holographic virtual reality TV's.
