The LCD/Plasma TV market has had some cut throat competition and Pioneer said its just going to compromise, rather than just drop out completely.

Pioneer will stop making its plasma panels all together and start teaming up with its former competition to produce them even cheaper.

Pioneer will join forces with Sharp on the LCD TV's and Plasma panels. They will also get panels from Matsushita, Hitachi, and Canon.
