Pioneer Comes Out With 500GB Disc

The masterminds at Pioneer have managed to stuff 25 layers on to the disc, with each layer containing 25GB of memory.

A 500GB Blu-ray disc is only in research stages at the moment, but Pioneer is already talking to the BDA to formalize the specification for the new media.
