The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 11th February 2012 is in. The Blu-ray exclusive re-release of Lady and the Tramp was the best selling new Blu-ray release for the week, and being Blu-ray exclusive, it helped Blu-ray market share rise to the highest since mid November. That's not to discount the effect of the second placed The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1, which sold in large numbers on Blu-ray, even if the DVD edition sold much more.
This allowed the week to be a rare one - one which actually had a higher revenue than the same week a year ago, for both DVD and Blu-ray.
