Rumors are floating around that Nintendo's new DS, the 3DS, could be in stores as soon as October, which is just in time for the holiday shopping season.
It was originally stated that it was coming near the beginning of 2011 but, kudos to Nintendo for an early release.
The selling point and probably the main feature anticipated by most is the dual 3D display that doesn't require the need for special glasses.
The dual core handheld device will be running off a NVIDIA Tegra chip that will give it far more advanced graphics.
