DirecTV to Offer 3D Programming First

DirecTV officially confirmed that they will be the first in the US to offer 3D TV

DirecTV officially confirmed that they will be the first in the US to offer 3D TV.

The first 3D channels will be PPV, DirecTV On Demand and a free 3D sample demo which will be offered at launch to all DirecTV HD customers via a software upgrade.

Eventually more content partners will jump on the bandwagon such as AEG/AEG Digital Media, CBS, Fox Sports/FSN, Golden Boy Promotions, HDNet, MTV, NBC Universal and Turner Broadcasting System.
