Apple announces a new monthly subscription service through iTunes that will rival your current cable TV for just $30 per month.

Its rumored that the key difference in this new service and cable TV, is that you only pay for the channels you want. If this is true, I can really see this becoming very popular as most TV packages contain a lot of channels you never watch.

The biggest question that comes to my mind is how the TV industry feels about this whole TV by broadband delivery.

Only time will tell...
