A patent application has been filed by Nintendo for a soft peripheral device shaped like a football that holds a Wiimote and nunchuk.
Nintendo is thinking it would bring a more life like game play as the device would be able to determine throwing angle, power, and direction, and would even sense body movements.
Nintendo has not made any comments concerning this peripheral but, keep in mind that this is just a patent, nothing may ever come of it.
