LG Electronics brings you the first Blu-ray player that fully supports 1080p DivX files

A certified DivX Blu-ray player can support as much as 25 hours of standard DVD quality video on a single Blu-ray disc.

The $400 Blu-Ray player has 1080p output, Dolby TrueHD/Digital Plus and DTS-HD 7.1 channel audio, and 1 GB of built-in memory to fully cover any BD-Live features you might have.

It will support Netflix, CinemaNow, NetCast, and YouTube streaming, and even comes bundled with Nero MediaHome Essentials to connect the player to household PCs and media servers.

Bonus:  If you have DivX 7 software, you will be able to compress a full two hours HD movie to around 8GB which will easily fit on a standard double layer DVD.
