TV.com is owned by CBS who has signed deals with PBS, Showtime, MGM, Sony, and USA that will bring a plethora of new shows to TV.Com's streaming video library.

Very similar to sites like Hulu.com, which is owned by Fox and NBC, TV.com will offer one central location to interact (Can you say social networking?) with other users by chatting and writing blogs about TV shows etc.
