Following in the foot steps of its competitors, Nintendo is finally getting video downloads.  Nintendo has teamed up with a ad agency called Dentsu to bring you a video distribution service.

The VOD service will offer both free (with ads of course) and a pay by month subscription alternative.  It will be called the Wiinoma Channel although it will not be used to access third-party content over the Web, just the clips that Nintendo approves.

The service will initially launch in Japan only but, I imagine it will migrate this way soon after.
