For your die hard video enthusiast, Mitsubishi is releasing a 65" laser powered TV.  They promise twice the color range of LCD TVs, 3D viewing capability, and it consumes less than 200 watts.

As cool as it sounds (and probably looks too), the price of one of these bad boys might scare you away.   The suggested retail price is $6,999.  If that isn't too much, just wait for the 73" model coming later this year for $10,000.
