The government has decided to help the less fortunate consumers transition to the digital age by supplying coupons for the new converter boxes you will need come February 09'.

Consumers may use the $40 coupons to purchase certified converter boxes for their analog televisions, which rely on over-the-air broadcasts, to keep working after February 17, 2009, when full power TV stations convert to all-digital signals.

However, its rumored that 840,000 coupons recently expired. Expired coupons cannot be replaced.
