Dell now sells computers and other devices in more than 10,000 stores around the world, including Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Best Buy Co., and the kiosks aren't really needed anymore.

Basically a kiosks is a place in a mall or similar building where they setup a DELL computer for people to play around with so they could see if they wanted to buy one.

Dell made the comment:

''They were very good for the business at the time, and now we're moving into a variety of retail outlets.''
