Toshiba Really Cutting Prices

Another price reduction for HD DVD, Best Buy and Circuit City are now offering Toshiba's latest third-generation A3 player for $199. That is a $100 off the original price.
To make that deal even sweeter, the A3 also includes 7 free HD-DVD's. Two of the seven can be picked up instantly, while the remaining 5 is a mail-in offer.
Sony made the comment, that Blu-Ray players are most likely not to fall below $400.
