SubExtractor is an open source tool that helps you extract and convert DVD subtitles into Advanced Substation Alpha (ASS) format, working with non encrpyted DVDs.
SubExtractor can also convert PGS (Blu-ray SUP) and sub/idx files to ASS.
The entire process is presented through a wizard style interface, with the option to integrate with media players such as VLC and subtitle editor such as Aegisub.
