The results and analysis for Blu-ray (and DVD) sales for the week ending 1st September 2012 is in. The blockbuster flop, but (personal opinion here) loud, stupid and fun Battleship was the week's best seller on Blu-ray, garnering an impressive 61% Blu-ray sales share in the process, finally able to topple The Hunger Games from the top spot.
There were stil 6 more releases in the Blu-ray top 10, so it was another busy week, and a of "greens" across the board as both DVD and Blu-ray revenue and Blu-ray market share rose compared to the same week last year.
