Apple has issued a software update that targets the EFI on the new MacBook Air laptops to fix some issues

Apple has issued a software update that targets the EFI on the new MacBook Air laptops to fix some issues.

The problem caused MacBook Air notebooks to boot or resume from sleep into a black screen or become unresponsive.

There have also been reports of horizontal lines sometimes appearing on the display or the display becoming discolored when waking.
