Boxee has released its first firmware update for the Boxee Box that includes over 50 bug fixes and other improvements.

There will be a fix for the 1080i playback issue, the low WiFi signal problem, and added compatibility for certain audio and video files.

Boxee has plans to release a couple more firmware upgrades by the end of the year that will not only include bug fixes, but also the new Netflix and Vudu apps.
