Toshiba Japan will be the first company to bring a glasses free 3D TV to consumers in both a 20" & 12" model.

The Regza 20GL1 is a 20" flat screen with 1280 X 720 resolution while the 12GL1 has a 466 X 350 resolution and both will display 3D images without the need for special glasses.

The new technology provides nine different viewing angles for each each single 2D frame which the viewer's brain then superimposes to create a 3-dimensional impression of the image.

A minimum of at least 2 to 3 feet is recommended viewing distance for both TVs which provides optimal viewing pleasure to maximize the 3D experience.
