Sony has announced version 3.42 firmware, which is a mandatory update, in a "attempt" to combat the PS Jailbreak hack

Today Sony released version 3.42 firmware, which is a mandatory update (if you want to continue to use the PlayStation Network aka PSN), in a "attempt" to combat the PS Jailbreak hack that is spreading like wild fire.

Sony is trying to pull a fast one on ya and say the update adds additional security features but, its merely a feeble attempt to prevent hacking of the PS3.

If you don't use the PlayStation Network, I wouldn't upgrade.....I'm not saying, I'm just saying.
