Verizon has announced its FiOS1 channel will exclusively carry the first 3D NFL game to New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island football fans.

The pre-game, post-game, half-time and the actual game between New York Giants and the New England Patriots on September will all be in 3D.

Die hard football fans will need a 3D TV, 3D glasses and an HD set-top box to view the game in all of its 3D glory.
