Sony is trying to clear up some confusion about 3D capabilities and their latest firmware saying it will only provide 3D for games not movies.

There will be four 3D games released in June: Wipeout HD, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, PAIN and Super Stardust HD.

Sony did say that Blu-ray 3D capabilities are coming later this year via a separate firmware update.
