Warner Bros. & Redbox announced a new multi-year deal that will make you wait 28 days before being able to rent new release movie.

"The 28-day window for Redbox balances the economics of our relationship while continuing to offer great value to their customers,"

I think Hollywood has finally figured out a way to fight back against Redbox's low rent price of just $1.  It will be interesting to see if customers are willing to wait almost a month.

Perhaps Redbox will pursue a life in the digital distribution market now?
