Sony has delayed the launch of the PlayStation 3 motion control device from originally this spring to the fall of 2010.

"We look forward to soon unveiling the exciting software line-up that further expand and define the PS3 platform as the ultimate entertainment system for the home."

The reason for the delay are pretty sketchy but, its being rumored that Sony wants to ensure a wider variety of compatible titles at launch.

Sony is planning ahead ?  Now that's a first...
