PS3 to Get 3D Compatibility via Firmware Update

Sony is planning to roll out a firmware update that will add 3D functionality to the PlayStation 3 no later than the fall of 2010.
Sony says it will help develop 3D tools with their business partners so that they may begin making 3D games for the gaming console.
