Silverlight 4 Beta Coming Soon

Microsoft Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device plug-in for delivering media experiences and interactive applications

Today Microsoft announced the availability of Silverlight 4 Beta that provides more fluid animations, Webcam support, and up to %200 faster starting times.

One of the big capabilities of Silverlight 4 is its ability to take rich-media experiences outside the browser in client apps which will compete with Adobe AIR.

It was also sport a deep zoom feature and have multi-touch support.
