Nintendo announced today that the consoles browser, Opera, is once again free and will remain free for the life of the Wii.  You'll need to have space either on your Wii or an SD card to install the browser and your console will have to be hooked up to an internet connection (duh).

If you have already shelled out the 500 Wii points ($5) for the browser, you will receive a "virtual coupon" that allows you to download a title worth up to 500 points starting October.
