Starting July 9th, Netflix will start streaming movies and TV shows to subscribers with web-enabled Sony Bravia HDTVs.
If you have a Bravia TV thats not connected to the internet, you will still be able to access the 12,000+ movies and TV shows through a separate Bravia Internet video link device.
“We are proud to include Sony Electronics among our CE partners who continue to provide new and exciting ways for Netflix members to instantly watch movies and TV episodes in their living rooms on their TVs,”
Devices capable of streaming from Netflix are select Blu-ray players and dedicated set-top boxes from TiVo, Roku, LG, Samsung and the Xbox 360 via the Xbox.
