Rumor has it that LG will stop producing plasma TV screens to focus more on LCD production

As with most things, the bottom line is money.  With that being said, LG's decision to cease production of plasma TVs to focus more on LCD technology makes sense.

LG says they are trying to reduce cost and do not see a future in plasma screens.  Sharp just released their 108" LCD TV sealing the fate for expensive plasma technology.
