Mitsubishi Halts LaserVue TVs

Mitsubishi is having some "manufacturing" problems and has since decided to stop all production of LaserVue TVs

Mitsubishi has temporarily suspended production of LASERVUE televisions due to a problem with the manufacturing equipment.  They expect production to resume sometime in the spring of 2009.

The $7,000 TV will provide two times more of most HDTVs, use less power, and is only 10" thick.  Other features include:

  • 1080p image
  • Smooth 120Hz technology, x.v. Color
  • 3D-ready viewing capabilities
  • 10-inches thin
