Firmware Update for New MacBooks

Apple has released new firmware updates for their “late 2008” notebooks that solved a handful of problems from video issues to memory problems.  Apple has already released one update fixing a faulty trackpad problem where clicks were not being recognized.

Apple didn't comment very much on what the firmware update is actually for, but did briefly mention the accuracy of the Power Adapter indicator light and the battery charge indicator lights.
