Best Buy Buys Napster

The original peer to peer program that changed the internet and music will soon be owned by Best Buy

The move will enable Best Buy to offer DRM-free music downloads that would compete with services such as Amazon MP3 and the Apple iTunes store.

Best Buy must have found a pot of gold somewhere because they are paying $121 million to acquire Napster.  If you can't beat them, buy them...
