Sharp has just announced that it will begin selling its 108" LCD TV in the US starting September.  Now big TVs always have been expensive but, this one is absurdly priced at $185,000 .

Despite its large size, the resolution is only 1920 X 1080 p.  It also only has a contrast ratio of 1200:1 . 

Honestly, I'd rather have a Ferrari for that kind of money but, to each his own.

There is a new type of TV coming out to rival LCD's and Plasma's but, its not thin and it won't hang on the wall but, its a hell of alot cheaper Liquid Crystal on Silicon TV's
