PS3 Consumes Ginormous Amounts of Electricity

According to a new study, the glorious PS3 will consume 5 times more energy than a medium sized refrigerator.

To put it where most people can actually fathom this, a medium fridge will cost about $50 a year to run while a PS3 turned on but not actually in use will cost $250 a year.

Bet you start turning it off now...
