Sony and Microsoft are in talks on how to incorporate a Blu-ray drive in the XBOX 360. Sony's PS3 already has one built in to it and this would just further accommodate the stand offish crowd.
The joining of the two wouldn't’t help sales of the PS3 or Xbox 360 as much as it would add incremental licensing revenue to Sony.
