The iPhone gets a new third party application that allows users to download BitTorrent
The iPhone gets a new third party application that allows users to download torrent files directly to the device over the EDGE network.

Tests over the EDGE network show that downloads may not be completely stable just yet, so they are suggesting inexperienced users wait to get this software until a more stable version comes out.

They also recommend staying off the EDGE network and use the built in wifi of the phone while using this software.
