The most anticipated (or lack there of) feature of the new firmware would probably be the further integration of the PSP so that a user could remotely turn on or off their PS3.
Other new features would be custom themes to the XMB interface, music and photo playlists,and parental controls.
The parental control are currently free until April of 2008, in which after that, they will be a pay feature.
