Although BitTorrent.com offers legal downloads , people usually think of piracy when the word BitTorrent is used. Now BitTorrent is taking another try at legally distributing video content over its P2P file sharing protocol with the introduction of BitTorrent Delivery Network Accelerator, or DNA.

BitTorrent DNA is a peer-accelerated content delivery service via downloads or streams that provides fast downloads for large files such as movies, games, software programs.

Similar to what BitTorrent currently does, DNA will let enable users to share large files. The difference, however, is that it does this more transparently through a new client that handles everything when a user comes to a DNA enabled site, allowing them to share files with others halfway through watching a movie or downloading a file.
